This perspective from Peter J. Gomes of Harvard University expresses the philosophy of those leading education opportunities at the Scarsdale Congregational Church. We hope these opportunities will inspire further exploration with family members and friends...as we see here as a father remains seated during the hymn so he can point out to his daughters the words and music we are singing.

In addition to worship, regular education opportunities include Church School for children ages 3 - 12, Confirmation Class for those in the seventh and eighth grade, weekday Nursery School for ages 2 - 4, and Sunday morning adult Bible Study.

Special education opportunities at the church, in the community, and in "cyberspace" will also be featured here. Please send your webmasters ideas and information you think should be included.
