Fellowship, community-building
can be sparked when two or more persons are together for any reason.
One of our favorite fellowship activities is Coffee Hour after Sunday
worship where most of us tarry to talk with persons we may not have
seen
all week. Opportunities for community building include sharing in
services of remembrance, singing in the Chancel Choir, coffee hours,
picnics, sorting "elephants" for the Family Fair, teaching Church
School, serving on a committee, being an usher, caroling, preparing and
serving a meal at the Open Arms shelter for homeless men or
participating in a film series discussion. "Fellowship" in our congregation is often intergenerational. You are invited to participate in our fellowship in whatever way you wish, to whatever extent you wish. Our activities are a way to prove "There are no strangers here, just friends you haven't met." You are warmly welcomed. Please come in! |
