Each autumn, members of our congregation, of all ages, dedicate a day to work together to serve our community.

After a simple breakfast together, we disperse in teams to undertake a variety of service projects. Some of us may cook and deliver food to shelters, while others may paint or do odd jobs at housing for the homeless. We have provided trail maintenance at a local nature center and organized the collection of school supplies for children on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota. The opportunities for service are plentiful.
