Scarsdale Congregational Church

The Scarsdale Congregational Church is located at the corner of Heathcote Road and White Plains Post Road (Route 22) in the village of Scarsdale, NY. There is a large parking lot across from the church on Heathcote Road, and a smaller parking lot behind the sanctuary - a total of 110 spaces. You'll know you've arrived when you see the steeple shown on our home page or this sign at the corner of Heathcote Road and White Plains Post Road. Two landmarks you are likely to find on your own maps are the Bronx River Parkway and the Hutchinson River Parkway, both of which go roughly north and south.

For the Bronx River Parkway from New York City and points south of Scarsdale: Take the Major Deegan to the New York State Thruway North. Turn right on the Cross County Parkway heading east. Turn north on the Bronx River Parkway North to Exit #12, Crane Road. Circle the separating island, following the signs to Crane Road. Turn right on Crane Road. Go two lights (approximately .6 miles) to the intersection of White Plains Post Road and Heathcote Road. The church is on your diagonal left.

From Upstate and points north of Scarsdale: Take the New York Thruway South to the Tappan Zee Bridge. Bear right to Exit 8, Cross Westchester Expressway (Route 287). Follow Route 287 to Exit 5, Route 119 East. Bear to the extreme left lane of Route 119. At the County Center, make a left, then a right on to the Bronx River Parkway – Southbound. Continue to Crane Road Exit #12, an exit from the left lane. Circle the separating island, following the signs to Crane Road. Turn right on Crane Road. Go two lights (approximately .6 miles) to the intersection of White Plains Post Road and Heathcote Road. The church is on your diagonal left.

For the Hutchinson River Parkway from New York City and points south of Scarsdale, travel north on the Parkway to Exit 21, Weaver Street and Route 125. Follow the signs to Weaver Street and Scarsdale. Make a right turn on to Weaver Street (Route 125). Drive 1.1 miles on Weaver, passing under four stop lights. Weaver ends at the fifth light, Palmer Avenue. Cross Palmer, bearing a little to your left, to Heathcote Road. The church is approximately one mile ahead. The sanctuary is on your right.

For the Hutchinson River Parkway from Upstate and points north of Scarsdale, travel south on the Parkway to Exit 22, Mamaroneck Road and Scarsdale. On Mamaroneck Road, drive approximately 2.6 miles, passing under four stop lights. Mamaroneck Road dead-ends into White Plains Post Road at the fifth light. Turn left on White Plains Post Road. Travel under four more stop lights, approximately 1.3 miles. Turn left at the fifth light, Heathcote Road. The church buildings are on your left.
