Service Outreach
We take seriously what it means to be the body of Christ in the world. We seek to provide financial support and service projects to organizations and causes that are committed to helping folks in economic, social, or mental crises. We also hold special annual offerings and collections during our worship services a few times a year.
Here are just a few of our ongoing community partnerships:
United Interfaith Food Bank (Founding Member) - (monthly events)
White Plains Ecumenical Emergency Food Pantry - (monthly events)
Scarsdale & Edgemont Family Counseling Service (Hosted on our church campus)
The SCC Guild Circles
The Guild Circles continue an 83-year tradition of women’s fellowship, serving the needs of the church and the wider community. The Guild organizes and runs clothing sales two times each year. Income from these sales and from donations supports Guild outreach benevolences, as well as funding our church. The Guild is an active member of the Scarsdale-Hartsdale Interfaith Council. Guild membership is unconditionally extended to all women of the church.
