AFYA Supporting Victims of Hurricane Melissa YOU CAN HELP!

Many of you may already be familiar with the Afya Foundation, based here in Westchester. Afya is an exceptional nonprofit organization that collects and redistributes surplus medical supplies to communities around the world, addressing critical gaps in the global medical supply chain and responding to urgent humanitarian crises. Most recently, Afya has mobilized support for those affected by Hurricane Melissa in Jamaica and the Caribbean. You can learn more about Afya [here].

We invite you and your congregations to join us on Thanksgiving morning from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Afya, as we begin the day together in gratitude and service. The morning will open with interfaith prayers of thanksgiving, followed by hands-on volunteer work sorting medical supplies to be distributed to vulnerable health systems both locally and globally. We will conclude with a few closing blessings.

Please find the sign-up link below. Registration is a first come, first serve basis and will close when we hit capacity of the venue. As always, don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions.
