SCC Outreach

The Scarsdale Congregational Church is committed to addressing the needs of our local and global community. We support, and partner, with the good work of many organizations and the United Church of Christ’s ‘Our Church's Wider Mission.’ All of our outreach programs and initiatives depend on the continuing support of our members – both their financial support, and their support as volunteers. Please contact us to learn about ways you can help sustain and strengthen this ministry.

 More Ways to Get Involved

Thanksgiving Food Drive

Dear Friends,

Nearly 80,000 Westchester residents already rely on SNAP for groceries, and with that benefit in peril, more of our neighbors will soon be in need. Please help by dropping off THESE much-needed items for the Ecumenical Emergency Food Pantry and Feeding Westchester here at Church. The collection point will be in the Narthex or the Office. The priority is of course the most needed food drive items but you are welcome to donate from either list.

Some folks are sending us food to the ChurchOffice from online retailers. This works well. We just need to stick to non-perishables

If you are able, there is also a great need for $25 Stop N Shop or ShopRite gift cards. They need to be specific to these two stores to really stretch those dollars. Any gift cards we receive will go in Thanksgiving Baskets through our friends at the Ecumenical Emergency Food Pantry.

Please note that Food Drive donations need to be in by Sunday, November 23rd.

Thank you in advance for any and all help!
