Thanksgiving Food Drive

We are kicking off our Thanksgiving Food Drive. Food and goods collected in this drive will benefit the Emergency Ecumenical Food Pantry, one of our regular beneficiaries as well as the Kol Ami Food Pantry. We will pack, sort and deliver this food on Sunday, November 15th. Donations after that will be taken to Feeding Westchester.

This year the needs are slightly different; we could really use diapers and wipes. I recognize that these items are expensive, so if you know someone who still has children in diapers who may have some that their kiddos have outgrown, please ask for those to be donated. Open packs of diapers can be accepted. Since the Jr. League stopped collecting diapers this past spring, the Diaper Banks near us are critically low.

Other needed items are: Canned Cranberry Sauce, Canned Vegetables of any kind, Rice, Dry Stuffing Mix, Dried Beans, Pasta, Pasta Sauce (plastic jars please), Peanut Butter, Jelly (plastic containers please), Non-refrigerated Boxed Milk and Juice (Cans or plastic preferred) Bags can be brought back to the Narthex. You do not need to get everything on the list - but get what you can!

Also, if during your Holiday shopping you are given a free turkey or ham - We will rehome it for you! The Slater Center in White Plains will be in need of these items to go with their Thanksgiving Food Drive. OR if anyone would like to donate a turkey or ham, we'd be grateful! We can only accept these offerings on November 14-15th. Frozen or fresh is fine.

Thanks!

Rev. Kelly
